ver (temperature 103*6?), and complaining of cough, dyspnoea, headache, and pain in his chest. States that his illness commenced with a distinct chill and subsequent pains all over his body and fever. On physical examination, I found the patient iu a very weakly condition ; he had a quick pulse, and a dry furred tongue. On percussion there was slight duluess over the base of his right lung and capillary crepitation on auscultation. His cough, which was most distressing, was accompanied with rusty muco-puruleut sputa. This man refused to take any meat or soups, and only depended on milk and grain for nourishment. He daily became worse and died on the 20th instant. Post-mortem examination 3 hours after death?

A study on the esophageal cancer radiotherapy effects on the patient’s lung health
Introduction: Radiotherapy with or without surgery plays an important role in the treatment of patients with esophageal cancer. In the treatment planning of esophageal cancer, usually normal lung volume was observed in the treatment fields and probably received high radiation dose. The incidence of radiation pneumonitis (RP) after radiotherapy (RT) for sensitive organ of lu...

We shall prove an existence inequality for two maps on Banach algebra, withan example and in sequel we have some results on R and Rn spaces. This waycan be applied for generalization of some subjects of mathematics in teachingwhich how we can extend a math problem to higher level.
متن کاملNotes on amalgamated duplication of a ring along an ideal
In this paper, we study some ring theoretic properties of the amalgamated duplication ring $Rbowtie I$ of a commutative Noetherian ring $R$ along an ideal $I$ of $R$ which was introduced by D'Anna and Fontana. Indeed, it is determined that when $Rbowtie I$ satisfies Serre's conditions $(R_n)$ and $(S_n)$, and when is a normal ring, a generalized Cohen-Macaulay ring and finally a filter ring.

During the past seven years several reports of an acute type of pulmonary infection, characterized by an onset with headache, malaise, and mild cough and by a febrile course of about a week's duration, with a minimum of adventitious signs on examination of the chest, little or no leukocytosis or sputum, and x-ray signs of evidence of pulmonary infection far out of proportion to the patient's cl...
متن کاملNotes on an Epidemic of Influenza
In late December 1940 an epidemic of influenza began in a camp on the N. W. Frontier of India. As this epidemic showed some interesting features it is proposed to give a report. In view of the loose way in which the term influenza has been used, and in view of the fact that it was not possible to c.arry out the measures for diagnosis suggested in the Medical Research Council Special Report No. ...
متن کاملON THE STABILITY AND THRESHOLD ANALYSIS OF AN EPIDEMIC MODEL
We consider a mathematical model of epidemic spread in which the population is partitioned into five compartments of susceptible S(t), Infected I(t), Removed R(t), Prevented U(t) and the Controlled W(t). We assume each of the compartments comprises of cohorts of individuals which are identical with respect to the disease status. We derive five systems of equations to represent each of the ...
